In the photograph "FLESH," award winning photographer Francis George utilizes abstract, soft lines to deconstruct the traditional notion of masculinity as being absent of femininity, and that the male paradigm can embody characteristics often stereotypically ascribed to females (whether personality traits or behavior) and that gender roles are ultimately culturally and socially derived, subjective, and do not necessarily define femaleness or maleness.
