What a wonderful turnout we had at Vromans Book Store in Pasadena, CA ☺️!
I had the opportunity to share the stage with authors, John Lu and Colyna Winbush.
We were asked to speak about the inspiration behind the poetry and one of the topics I addressed was the conditionality of love and acceptance, particularly in the Asian culture. I read the poem "hidden" which is about the vacillation of love and questions the existence of unconditional love.
To have a reader resonate with the meaning of a poem is one of the most gratifying moments for a writer.
Thank you to all my friends, old and new, who took the time to come out and support us. It really means a lot to me. 🤗
