"It really is a beautiful production, and definitely all the elements work as one. After reading the poetry, 'haunting' is the word that comes to mind. Part of it is your and Phoenix's histories, but also the poetry itself. Especially towards the end I got that feeling. I think the feeling builds throughout, as I read the book in one go.
It was interesting to have a series of responses to the photographs; my first reaction was that they are very pretty (kudos to Francis). Then, after realizing that they represent the poems, and knowing how they were shot, they became more intense, intimate, and personal. Then, at the end of the book, I got that haunting feeling, and the response I had to the photographs was pretty different from when I first saw them.
You, Francis, and Phoenix should be proud and happy that, first, you finished it, and second, how it turned out."
