What an amazing turnout we had at our Hong Kong book signing! I never thought when I walked into the renown Flow Book Shop three years ago, I would actually be doing a book signing here. I recall my first conversation with Flow Book Shop owner, Surdham Lam, about his mission to connect people through books and how books are like enlightened windows into the world, humanity, and our inner selves. I was drawn to his belief that books should continue to "flow" from one to another and that connections between people are paramount to profit.

I recall my first conversation with Flow Book Shop owner, Surdham Lam, about his mission to connect people through books and how books are like enlightened windows into the world, humanity, and our inner selves. I was drawn to his belief that books should continue to "flow" from one to another and that connections between people are paramount to profit.
Last October, I stopped by Flow Book Shop to satisfy my bibliophile fix and I mentioned to Surdham I was working on a book and he thought it would be a great idea to hold a book signing at the shop. On November 6, 2018, not only did I have a book signing, but Surdham made me the book store owner for the day and he told me to run the book store however I would like. I decided to combine my two favorite passions, being a writer and a raver. It might seem like polar opposites, but what has always drawn me to both is the creativity and freedom each pastime embodies and the ability to translate such ideals through both those mediums to other people.
What a great time...we danced, we explicated, we debated, and we made a lot of new friends! Cheers!
