Judy Choi was a club kid from the Denver’s 90s rave scene and along with Airick Heater, threw weekly parties as the Sugartwist Kids that promoted diversity and celebrated inclusivity (Sugartwist Sundays, Lolligag Land, & Kerplunk) at The Compound, Snake Pit, and Tracks 2000, as well as countless numbers of parties and raves.
In 2017, she started Tigrefou Editions, a publishing company that prints books on a vast array of topics, from the unconventional to the provocative, cultural identity, club counterculture, love, eroticism, fashion, and the imaginary.
Ms. Choi will be at the Colfax Tattered Cover on Sunday, June 23, from 2pm-4pm and dressed in full on club kid regalia and paying homage to Sugartwist and celebrating the launch of her award winning book, "the CLOUD that fell from the sky."
